The team
Hello and welcome! We are Rogier & Cheryl – we are Hickory.
We create high-quality wooden items for lovers of minimalistic styles and natural materials. We like to play around with geometric shapes and stay inspired by wood in its many variations.
Inspired by wood. Created by hand.
We are exceptionally passionate about supporting small businesses and anyone who exercises a craft. Especially in this day and age, we encourage people to choose for (handmade) items of true quality. Our mission with Hickory is to offer such items.

Sustainability
Besides supporters of all people practising their craft, we're also big lovers of the environment. We therefore naturally strive to use as little plastic as possible in our packaging.
Choosing wood over other materials does, however, bring with it its own consequences. Therefore we are very conscious about wood being a scarce and finite resource, and use as much residual material in our workshop as we can. We always try to improve and adapt, wherever possible.

Our workshop is based in Tilburg, The Netherlands. We're part of 'Ateliers013', a collective of creative entrepeneurs and artists.

All of our products are made with the utmost care and kept to quite a high standard – as we're both perfectionists.

We combine modern technology such as lasercutting and CNC milling with pure handwork.
